To increase the reporting rate please send the following command using Serial Data window in the Diagnostics mode tab of quickAIS software or using a Terminal Emulator software.
The following command will increase the reporting rate to 30 seconds:
$PSMT,0,2,0xC37F28C3,1,setposti 30,0*1A
The following command will increase the reporting rate to 1 minute:
$PSMT,0,2,0xC37F28C3,1,setposti 60,0*1F
The following command will increase the reporting rate to 2 minutes:
$PSMT,0,2,0xC37F28C3,1,setposti 120,0*2A
The following command will decrease the reporting rate to 10 minutes:
$PSMT,0,2,0xC37F28C3,1,setposti 600,0*2F
To return it to the 5 minute reporting rate please send the following command:
$PSMT,0,2,0xC37F28C3,1,setposti 300,0*2A
Please be advised that increasing the reporting rate will reduce the battery life from the default 5 days. We haven't carried out any long-term tests using the increased report rates so we would recommend monitoring the performance of the battery if used in the long term.
