To help prevent corrosion or contamination of the charging contacts:
- Rinse the i100-X with fresh water after exposure to seawater or salt spray.
- Always ensure the i100-X and its charging contacts are completely dry before placing it in the dock.
- Keep the charging dock clean and dry.
- Regularly inspect the unit contacts and dock pins for corrosion, salt deposits, or damage.
- Before long-term storage, ensure both the i100-X and dock are clean and completely dry.
What should I do if I notice corrosion?
If corrosion, loose contacts, or damaged dock pins are found, stop using the affected dock and contact em-trak Product Support. If possible, provide photos of both the i100-X contacts and the charging dock pins.
