If your chartplotter supports AIS but shows no targets, check NMEA 0183 wiring:
Match positive (A/+) and negative (B/-) signal lines.
Connect transmit to receive, and vice versa.
Ensure baud rates match—use 38,400 for AIS to avoid message loss in busy areas.
