| The I100X status indicator does not flash when placed in the holder. |
The I100X might be in deep sleep mode, put the I100X into the charging dock and connect it to a PC. The battery may be depleted and requires charging. |

| The AIS transmission range of the I100X is reduced. | Make sure that the I100X is mounted to the I100X as high as possible, and avoid attaching it to metal surfaces or poles, as these can interfere with the internal VHF antenna. |
| The I100X does not obtain a GPS position fix (status indicator flashes amber 5 times). |
Make sure that the I100X is outside and has a clear unobstructed view of the sky. Mount the I100X away from any large metal structures. |
| The I100X status indicator does not flash when the I100X is placed in the charger. |
Take the I100X out of the charging dock and reinsert it. Check that the charging dock is plugged in a receiving power. |
| The I100X status indicator is continuously illuminated red when the I100X is being charged. |
The temperature may be too high to charge the battery. If possible move the I100X somewhere where the temperature is between 0°C and 40°C. There may be a charging error, contact your local dealer for a replacement charging dock. |
